Identify unusual network behavior in real-time. Compare current behavior to data-backed, typical behavior, specific to your network.
Statseeker NPM anomaly detection allows you to confirm whether or not the data being reported is out of the ordinary. This is achieved by comparing the current data against the previous six months of historical data.
Because Statseeker NPM never ‘rolls-up’ or averages your data we are able to analyze your network behavior and produce a model for every monitored metric, for each minute, of each day of the week.
Statseeker NPM is continuously comparing your network behavior to this data model and can be configured to alert you when unusual behavior is detected.
Example baseline graph
The data model used in anomaly detection is built from your data history. As your network evolves, the data model used by anomaly detection updates, keeping in step with changes in network behavior. While you can, and should, still apply more traditional thresholds and alerts as needed across your network, Statseeker NPM’s anomaly detection can be used to highlight unexpected behavior which may not be explicitly catered for in other alerting configurations.
