Techniche Limited. (ASX:TCN), a global technology company, today confirmed the appointment of Tom Caldwell to the position of Chief Technology Officer, effective immediately. He will also lead the Techniche global engineering team which support the Statseeker and Urgent platforms.

Statseeker is a leading provider of highly scalable network management solutions and Urgent delivers a SaaS cloud asset management solution. Both technologies have a proven track record in delivering solutions to some of the largest global Fortune 100 enterprise companies in the world.

Caldwell is a seasoned networking and software industry executive with a track record of innovation and building software businesses at Cisco, Microsoft, Rockwell and other leading technology companies. Tom has also founded and led a number of successful startups that focused on bringing new innovation to market including technology areas such as distributed cloud computing architectures, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and large scale SaaS software services. Prior to joining Techniche, his startup named CyberFlow Analytics, was acquired by Webroot where in the transition he served as senior director of engineering. Previous to that Tom served in a series of executive engineering roles at Cisco from January 2000 until March 2011.

A native of California, Caldwell has a master’s degree in computer science from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly).
