OLA ENERGY SELECTS TECHNICHE ASSET AND MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE
System will be deployed at OLA Energy retail stations in 17 African markets
MILTON KEYNES, UK (27 October 2021) – Techniche today announced that African fuel retailer OLA Energy has selected Urgent, its cloud-based computerised maintenance management software (CMMS), to support asset and maintenance management across the entire OLA Energy network in Africa.
Following the completion of a successful implementation pilot phase focused on three key OLA Energy markets – Cote d’Ivoire, Ethiopia and Tunisia – the solution will be rolled out across the fourteen remaining markets in which OLA Energy operates. In total, the Urgent platform will support asset and maintenance management for 1,280 retail stations operated by OLA Energy.
The OLA Energy implementation includes language options, supporting both French and English. OLA Energy will also introduce the Urgent mobile app for use by approved contractors and site managers. In addition to French and English, the mobile app is available in Amharic, the official language of Ethiopia.
“OLA Energy has put into place a comprehensive consumer insight-based digital strategy across all its operations in Africa, reflecting a rapid uptake in mobile retail throughout the continent.
